Early voting in Georgia begins Oct. 15 but local election officials can determine the exact date it starts and the hours of operation. State law states it can start as soon as the fourth Monday prior to the election but Monday, Oct. 14 is Columbus Day so it will start Tuesday.
Advanced voting ends across the state Friday, Nov. 1. All voters will be expected to go to their assigned voting precincts on election day rather than the sites listed for early voting or county election offices. You can only vote in your assigned precincts and will need a driver’s license or state identification to cast a ballot in Georgia.
Below is a list of days, hours, and places for those planning to vote early in Northwest Georgia.
