Planning Commission Meeting is Tonight

Posted on July 27, 2026July 27, 2026 by Melody Dareing

A controversial data center proposal was moved off the Bartow County Planning Commission agenda for its meeting tonight, but several other items remain on the agenda that will affect rural and residential landowners.

The proposal to rezone approximately 111 acres on Brown Farm Road by attorneys Akins  & Tate for a data center remains on the printed agenda. However, county officials said it won’t be heard tonight and changed the date for that hearing to August 24 beginning at 6 p.m. It will be in Courtroom D of the Frank Moore Administration building, which is the courthouse on Cherokee Street.
