As many of you are aware, there are townhomes being built on Center Road. The developer (I assume) has put a sidewalk near the road in the area where their driveway is located.

There is no curb along the road side of the sidewalk, but there is a small section of grass. Sprinklers run almost every day. Drivers runoff the edge of the road in to this grassy area and mire up in the grass, causing mud and then they track it back on to the roadway.

It has been interesting the past several weeks to drive by and see all the grass fixed and back in place then ride by later and see tire tracks. The process repeats itself daily.
With temperatures dropping below freezing overnight, the road could be iced over in the morning if the sprinklers run later today into tomorrow.
The only thing that might possibly help is a raised curb similar to the picture below. In the meantime, enjoy riding by getting your vehicle rinsed off for free.
