On Leap Year, February 29, 2020, a rally was held at Manning Mill Park in Bartow County. It was the first political rally of its kind for Bartow as it allowed people to show their support for President Donald Trump and the 2nd Amendment.
Over 1,200 attended the event which was hosted by President’s Team – Bartow, Fred Kittle, David Brandenburg, Meika Wilson and Darla Branton Williams and featured many elected officials speaking as well as GA2A.

The very next day is when people gathered in churches and the first case of Covid was present in our area. It would take a few more days before people became symptomatic and before doctors were able to pinpoint the type illness.
We are so thankful that 4 years later Covid is not as dangerous as it once was.
Rumor has it there will be another rally similar to this one in the Fall as we head into the 2024 Presidential Election. Many local positions are also going to be on the ballot. If you aren’t registered to vote, I’d like to encourage you to do so today.
