This Afternoon and Tonight...
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible in far north Georgia late this afternoon with chances across the rest of north Georgia increasing overnight. Thunderstorms are capable of producing damaging wind gusts, hail, and locally heavy rainfall.
Isolated tornadoes will also be possible over the extreme north.
Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the NWS.
